Katie is a lovely little dog. She is very friendly, loves a fuss and walks well. Katie will be a great companion for someone. She will need to be an only pet.
With us because she killed the family house rabbit. |

HOLLY
GERMAN SHEPHERD CROSS- Female 8 months
Holly is a lovely, very lively and boisterous puppy. She likes other dogs and is good off the lead, playing. Walking, she does pull, even on a halti, so we would definitely recommend training classes. Holly will make a wonderful pet for someone willing to take the time to train her.
With us because she grew too big. |

BENSON
ROTTWEILER- Male 3 years
Benson is a wonderful, very well trained dog. He is good with other dogs and children. He walks well on, and off the lead. Benson loves to play ball, he will sit, lay down and wait. He is going to make a great pet.
With us due to his owner moving into accommodation where no pets allowed. |

BELLE
BEAGLE- Female 8 years
Belle is a lovely girl. She gets on well with other dogs, walks well and loves a fuss. Her recall off lead is hit and miss, but she will make a wonderful pet in any new home.
With us because she was just not wanted anymore. Their loss!

TED
YORKIE CROSS SHIH-TZU- Male 1 year
Ted is a very lively puppy. He is very friendly, walks well on lead and loves his tuggy toys. Ted likes other dogs and has lived with 7 cats (although he will sometimes try to chase them, just to play). He needs someone who has lots of time to spend playing with him. Children 5+, only because Ted likes to jump.
With us due to a relationship break up.

TYLER
STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER- Male 9 years
Tyler is a wonderful dog. He is a little overweight, so can't walk too far at the moment. He does however walk very well off lead, and is very loyal. Tyler loves to be a part of whats going on, and loves to be fussed. He doesn't mind other dogs or cats and is used to children from 7+.
With us due to his owner moving where no pets allowed. |

SCAMP
LABRADOR CROSS- Male 8 years
Scamp is a very friendly dog. He walks well and likes a fuss. Scamp has lived with another dog (Patch, also with us). We would recommend children 12+, only because he is older and not used to them.
With us due to his owner being unable to keep him. |

PATCH
COLLIE CROSS- Male 8 years
Patch is a lovely dog. He is very nervous of meeting new people at the moment, but we are making good progress with him. He will probably always be shy. Once Patch knows you though he is very loyal and gentle. Patch has lived with another dog, Scamp, who is also with us. We would recommend 16+ for children because of his nervousness. Patch will make a great companion for the right owner. The right owner being someone with lots of love and patience.
With us due to his owner being unable to keep him. |

ZORRO
STAFFI-Male 5 years
Zorro is a typical Staffi, he is full of energy and excitement. He walks well on a harness and loves attention. Zorro doesn't like other dogs or cats so will need to be an only pet for someone used to a strong willed breed. Children 12+
With us after being found as a stray. |

ROTTWEILER- Male 5 years
Tony is a very friendly dog. He loves fuss and attention. He doesn't like other dogs too much though, so will have to be an only pet. He travels well and will make a great pet for someone who is used to large breed dogs. Children 12+

SASSY
JACK RUSSELL CROSS- Female 11 years
Sassy is a very friendly dog. Don't be put off by her age, she still loves her walks and has lots of energy. Sassy doesn't like other dogs, she doesn't really bother when walking, but will have to stay on a lead.
She is with us due to a marriage break up. |

Ella- Jack Russell
Pip & Ella are two lovely dogs. We would like to re-home them together as Pip has raised Ella from a pup. They really love each other and even sleep together. They pull a little on the lead, but on the whole walk well together. They are quite excitable, and fast! They will make a great addition to a new family.

ALFIE
JACK RUSSELL- Male 5 years
Alfie is a return to the shelter. He has a few likes and dislikes. Alfie's likes are: His food, he will sit and wait for his meals and is not possessive of food or toys. He loves to play with his toys. He also likes to chase the postman (one of the reasons he was returned). Alfie doesn't like cats. He also doesn't like post, any new owner will need to keep him from the letter box. Overall,Alfie is a strong willed Terrier and needs someone who understands the breed. For the right person he will make a wonderful pet.
Returned to us for being too boisterous. |

POLO
STAFFI CROSS- Male 8 months
Polo is a very boisterous puppy. He can be quite mouthy, and is always excited. He would benefit from training classes. Just to teach him a few basics and keep his mind active. A lovely friendly dog who will make a great family pet (children 5+).
With us because he was too boisterous for the other dog in his home. |
